Our Story
Cork & Craft was born from a simple idea: creativity brings people together in ways nothing else can. What started as a single paint event quickly became something more. I saw how art, wine, and shared experiences could transform a room full of strangers into a community. People weren’t just painting. They were relaxing, reconnecting with themselves, and creating memories they didn’t expect.​
After years of building community through creative experiences, Cork & Craft found its home in Asheville, a place where art, nature, and authenticity are part of everyday life. Today, Cork & Craft operates as a mobile creative studio, hosting guided paint experiences at local wineries, breweries, and gathering spaces throughout the area, as well as private parties, and small group events.
In addition to in-person experiences, Cork & Craft is expanding into curated DIY art kits, including paint-by-number canvases, string art, and creative projects designed to bring the Cork & Craft experience into your home. Each kit is thoughtfully created to be approachable, relaxing, and rewarding, whether you're creating solo or sharing the experience with others.
Every Cork & Craft experience, whether in person or at home, is designed to be welcoming and accessible. No prior artistic experience is needed. Just a willingness to slow down, create, and enjoy the process.
